About

My journey with Ayurveda began long before I realised it. I grew up in a household where traditional healing was woven into daily life, and my Grandma was always the first to suggest a home remedy whenever someone felt unwell. I trusted her treatments wholeheartedly, even if I didn’t yet understand the science behind them. One of my earliest memories with my Nani ji is her massaging oil into my skin before baths as a child. The massages felt more invigorating than relaxing and I’ll be honest, I didn’t always look forward to it, but I knew it was important.

It wasn’t until I faced chronic health challenges of my own that I truly began to explore Ayurveda as a complete system of healing.

At fourteen, a suspected infection left my body hypersensitive and reactive. Over the next decade, I saw countless specialists and received numerous possible diagnoses — IBS, abdominal migraines, SIBO, histamine intolerance, leaky gut and chronic bladder infections. Eventually, I was diagnosed with Endometriosis, Mast Cell Activation Disorder and multiple food intolerances. Conventional treatments, long-term antibiotics, and restrictive diets offered little lasting relief and often put more stress on my body.

This prompted a shift in focus—away from symptom management and toward holistic healing. I stopped taking pharmaceutical medication, paused my university studies, began to eat intuitively and focused on calming my nervous system.

In 2021, I decided to start researching my Grandma’s remedies. I wanted to know how they worked. I was looking for a scientific explanation but instead I found Ayurveda. What drew me in was how beautifully it connects everything — body, mind, spirit, and the environment we’re in. Ayurveda doesn’t just treat symptoms; it reveals how every part of us is interlinked. That perspective helped me see my own health in a completely new way — with compassion, patience, and balance.

I recently completed a course in Ayurvedic Therapies with Dr. Renuka at the Anvi Ayurved Retreat in Goa, India, where I trained in traditional massage techniques and oil treatments such as Shirodhara, Nasya, and Pinda Sveda.

Today, I support clients through personalised Ayurvedic consultations, massage and oil therapies designed to bring balance to the mind and body and soul. My approach focuses on diet, herbal support, daily routines, and sustainable lifestyle practices that foster long-term health and wellbeing.

It truly feels like a full-circle moment to now be practising the very principles my grandmothers instilled in me.
