About

Ayurveda is a traditional system of medicine originating in India that understands health as a state of balance between body, mind, and consciousness. It is based on the principles of the five natural elements — ether, air, fire, water and earth — which combine uniquely within each individual, guiding personalised approaches to diet, lifestyle, herbal support and therapeutic practices that address the root causes of imbalance and support long-term wellbeing.

My interest in Ayurveda grew from a childhood surrounded by traditional home remedies and the healing practices of my grandmothers. Later, personal health challenges, including Endometriosis, Mast Cell Activation Disorder and multiple food intolerances, led me to explore Ayurveda as a holistic approach to restore balance and support long-term wellbeing.

As I began learning more about Ayurveda, I was struck by how clearly it explained patterns I had experienced in my own health. Rather than viewing symptoms in isolation, Ayurveda offered a framework that connected digestion, inflammation, immunity, nervous system regulation and lifestyle.

What began as personal exploration soon developed into formal study and professional training.
